Drie grote projecten in onze Schelde-Deltaregio zijn opgenomen in het Meerjarenprogramma Infrastructuur Energie en Klimaat (MIEK). In dit programma van het Ministerie van Economische Zaken en Klimaat (EZK) staan infrastructuurprojecten van nationale betekenis met als doel versnelling aan te brengen in de Nederlandse industriële energietransitie. 

 

Smart Delta Resources, North Sea Port en Provincie Zeeland werken samen aan:

1. Het ontwikkelingen van een regionale waterstof-infrastructuur voor de transport en distributie van waterstof (Hydrogen Delta programma)

2. Het verzwaren van de elektriciteitsnetwerken die nodig zijn om de industriële processen in de toekomst op stroom te laten draaien (380 kV Zeeuws-Vlaanderen)

3. De opvang, opslag en hergebruik van CO2 (Carbon Connect Delta)
